Lotus Separations, LLC was founded in 2007 and is a privately owned company specializing in chromatographic purifications of small molecules. Much of the work is accomplished using supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) which is considered a green technology and uses liquid carbon dioxide instead of organic solvents.

Christina Kraml, CEO spent 15 years at Wyeth Research in the Separations Group of the Discovery Analytical Chemistry Department. She was recently appointed Visiting Professional Scientist in the Department of Chemistry at Princeton University and is a co-founder of Lotus Separations. She is involved in numerous collaborations with members of the chemistry department at Princeton University as well as the University of California Berkeley, Université de Sherbrooke, and the University of Pennsylvania. She and a team of scientists experienced in the fields of chemistry and engineering share many years of SFC experience in the pharmaceutical industry and understand the needs, techniques, and demand for rapid generation of purified materials.
